p>Neighbourhood Officer Housing Association About The Client:



Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association in Greater Manchester who are looking to appoint a Neighbourhood Officer on a 2 month initial contract with strong indication to be extended further. This opportunity comes with a competitive hourly rate ranging from 19 to 22 per hour through umbrella, for a 35-hour contract per week. You'll also enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working and the option to include weekend hours as part of your regular schedule.



Neighbourhood Officer Housing Association About The Role:




  • Support the estates team to tackle estate management priorities such as litter, fly tipping and graffiti.  Such as; assisting with enforcement through the LA or leading on clean up days and education activities for residents

  • Conduct visits to residents homes as required to carry out all tenancy related requirements including property inspections, tenancy reviews, address any tenancy related issues including arrears, assignments, conversions, initial visits and successions. On occasion to collect keys at tenancy end and resolve issues between the planned works, repairs teams and the customer as they occur

  • Ensure an agile, flexible and proactive approach is taken to hours of operation in order to establish and maintain contact with identified residents, meeting the needs of our customers and the business

  • Work with the Community Investment Team to build partnerships and attract resources to support the delivery of neighbourhood plans



Neighbourhood Officer Housing Association What You Need:




  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • The skillset to manage relationships with tenants including challenging non-compliance

  • Experience of managing housing stock and a good knowledge of housing legislation
