Job Description

The Opportunity

Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Project Manager, a key role focusing on a particular programme of works, and responsibility for contract management of the Nuclear Service Agreement (NSA) for SZC.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

The Role

You'll supervise the execution and performance of the NSA contract and Ancillary scope contract, reporting on key metrics, and managing contract management tools to ensure on time delivery, schedule, and budget.

You'll use your comprehensive knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, leveraging your commercial and supply chain expertise to ensure the timely delivery of activities for program teams responsible for scope delivery.

Liaising with key stakeholders (NSA Contractor, SZC Delivery Programmes, SZC Engineering Integration) will be a key part of your role.

The Skills

You'll have experience of working on major infrastructure projects, in a contract management capacity.

Ideally, you'll have engineering or project management experience in the nuclear industry, with an understanding of the commercial aspects of major project delivery.

Ultimately, you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

If the above sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you!
