Professional Services Contract Manager
Inside IR35
Contract Term: 6 months

Location: London (Remote with attendance when required to any DfT hub will be considered)

The Role:
As Professional Services Contract Manager you will have a central role in the direction, delivery, oversight and continuous improvement of the Department s reward, in-year recognition and benefits policies.
Your role will support and advise the senior leadership team on the future benefits and reward strategy, including taking a lead on the retender of the contract for the Department s benefit provider. This will be the primary focus of the team for the next 6-9 months and you would be leading on this.
You will also lead on the management and development of the Department s non-pay benefits offer through our third-party benefits supplier. You will work closely with payroll, suppliers, commercial and finance colleagues to deliver a quality range of benefits to our staff. You will also have opportunities to work directly with business areas to promote our benefits offer alongside other pay and reward policies.
You will be the policy lead for the Department s in-year recognition schemes (Local Recognition Awards (LRA) and Thank You Voucher schemes). You will be responsible for the delivery of our current LRA action plan for DfTc.
As a Professional Services Contract Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- Business as usual contract management of the main employee benefits contract and third-party suppliers.
- Leading the retender project to engage a replacement when the current contract for employee benefits expires in 2024.
- Leading on the Department s in-year recognition schemes (Local Recognition Awards, LRA, and Thank you Voucher schemes).
- Delivering of the LRA action plan for DfTc. This includes the digitisation of this policy and process, improved spending controls. policy and communication improvements and collaborating with analytical colleagues on equality analysis.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across HR, Finance, Commercial, Communications and Shared Services to provide an efficient and effective customer experience. This includes working across other government departments and collaborating with the DfT agencies.
- Reviewing opportunities for the implementation of new pay and reward improvements.
You ll have relevant experience in:
- You will ideally have experience as a HR professional managing contracts, including re-tendering for services. You may also have a background in Procurement and Contract Management.
- You will be an experienced leader, comfortable with bringing colleagues together around a common goal and working with different viewpoints and priorities.
- You will have strong numerical skills and feel comfortable analysing data including financial information.
- You will have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to confidently communicate information to a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
- Project management experience, specifically in IT/digital would be beneficial
