p>Marks Sattin has partnered with a FTSE Listed Real Estate Firm who are in search of an interim Senior Finance Analyst on a 6 Month assignment.


This position will be primarily supporting the Investor Relations team with the management/maintenance and analysis of the IR programme.

This will also tie into supporting the FP&A team responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.



IR Remit:

Collaborating with the Investor Relations team:
- Work closely with internal teams, including FP&A, Property Finance, Group Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Real Estate, and Strategy to analyze, develop, and present financial and other information about our client's business model, strategy, and performance.
- Respond to queries from management, investors, and analysts regarding financial performance and key metrics.
- Engage in proactive dialogue with sell-side analysts through regular meetings, telephone, and email contact.
- Understand and advise management on communication strategies related to key market-focused issues.
- Maintain up-to-date detailed 3-year analyst consensus forecasts and track them against our client's forecasts.
- Produce timely summaries of significant analyst notes for the Board and key executives.
- Collaborate with the Head of IR to create presentations and speeches for key trading and major external events (CFO and CEO).
- Ensure efficient and effective production of regular feedback on results and major developments for both our client and key peers.
- Contribute to the production of Board IR Reports and other ad-hoc reports.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and regular contact across the business, including group financial control, strategy, tax, and treasury.
- Stay informed about property industry developments and general equity market news, performing scenario analysis to support business decisions.
FP&A Remit:
- Support the delivery of finance papers for the Board and Executive Committees.
- Assist in delivering key management information, ensuring data integrity and accuracy (e.g., investment activity, leasing activity, treasury activity, performance vs. budget).
- Forecast and monitor key financial risk metrics.
- Provide insights to support and challenge the commercial decisions of the business.
- Work on special ad-hoc projects as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Fully Qualified ACA/Chartered Accountant
- Background within the real estate/property sector
- Experience within FP&A
- Knowledge of the wider property market
- Experience within Investor Relations (preferable)
